We love that area of Mallorca. The hotel is very spacious and inviting.

The only thing which was uncomfortable was adjusting the heat in our room. In mid-November in Palma, there is no reason to heat the rooms but we could not control it. So the radiator was always on, making it difficult to sleep without keeping the window open.

Wonderful

Very good food buffet (Breakfast and Dinner) and pleasant staff. Great starting location for bike trips, RideMallorca bike rental (150m) can be highly recommended.

The double bed were two separate beds not fixed together and constantly moving from each other.

Brilliant hotel

This hotel was amazing- comfortable, clean, affordable and peaceful, but also very close to shops, restraurants, and 2 minutes walk from the beach. We really enjoyed the evening entertainment, the atmospher was lovely and cheerful. The staff were very friendly and kind, and went out if their way to help with our requests. The breakfast was out of this world, I've never seen so much choice!

The indoor jacuzzi is cold so we could not use it. We had to pay for the sauna and steam room.

Great place to stay!

Upon arrival at the front of the hotel, even before getting through the front door, we walked through a very pleasant outdoor area filled with greenery, palm trees and a stone fountain. The lobby was slick, clean and accessible, with friendly and helpful reception staff, offering a welcome glass of Cava upon arrival. A fantastic first impression! Making our way to the room, it was easy to see that the hotel is well looked after, again with corridors and communal areas being cared for and cleaned to a high standard. There is a lift to all floors, although it was perhaps a little on the cosy side if carrying more than 4 people. Upon entering the room we were very pleased with the size, along with the wonderfully large bed! Furnishings were typical of most Spanish hotels, being wooden with a rustic charm. Some may find it a little dated perhaps, but personally we wouldn't have it any other way. TV and mini fridge, as well as tea / coffee making facilities were also present. Bathroom was clean and spacious, with a very large mirror, basically everything it needed to be. We had a very large balcony as well, with a small washing line, 2 chairs and a mini patio table. The room served us well for the week and was a lovely place to come home to. Just to add, our friend booked a sea view room on the 11th floor. The room was just as good, perhaps a little smaller, but the view was breath-taking! Next up is the catering. Again, large clean dining room with the option for alfresco if preferred. The food selection was vast and for many would be mouth-watering on a daily basis, as well as vegan and vegetarian options available at both breakfast and dinner. Evening meal drinks needed to be paid for separately, but a selection of hot drinks and juices were available at no charge for breakfast. Pool was large and exposed to the sun, as well as having plenty of shade if required, including a lovely outdoor terrace and tiki bar.

The only negative point on the whole hotel, for anyone with specific dietary requirements then you can seek assistance if needed, but food labelling wasn't perhaps as present as it should be, although this has been the case in pretty much every hotel I've stayed in Spain, so if it's the standard overall then it's not falling short of the mark locally.

Second visit...not the last!

This was our second visit to Valentin Reina so we knew what to expect and we weren't disappointed.

The only thing was on our first visit we had a beautiful walk in shower and as we are both elderly stepping in and out of the bath, this time, was not so easy. Having said that, it did not spoil our holiday and everything else was perfect.

Peaceful visit

The place was very relaxing off-season, the room was comfortable and the robes and slippers provided were a nice extra. The indoor pool was great also. All in all we really enjoyed our stay!

Nice hotel in a great location

Sea view room was fabulous

Tables too close together. I felt quite uncomfortable and choose not to eat in the restaurant despite paying for it. My table (69) was squeezed between 2 food stations, a server station and too close to a group of Germans who were very noisy.
